It’s Inspirational Saturday, and I asked myself “What Makes a Mom?” Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, and I have found myself sharing Mother’s Day related goodies here and there over the past couple weeks, but the truth is there are many different ways to be a “mom”. Of course, there are moms with little girls…
…and moms with little boys…
But what really makes a “mom” is the unconditional love, bond, and caregiving that women have for others. I like to say that we have a “furamily”. Our “furry, four-legged children” are a huge part of our family, and I am their “mom” just as much as I am a mom to Hailey. So on Mother’s Day don’t forget the moms with dogs…
…the moms with cats…
…or even the moms with horses…
Take the time to celebrate Mother’s Day for all, for those who are blessed with children, for those who are blessed with beloved animals, and for those mothers who have left us to be with the Angels.
